TRIBUTE TO THE OLD WOMAN
It may be hard for some people to believe but I really do have a soft spot buried deep within behind stone walls. I don't get mushy very often so this is probably a once in a lifetime event. Old Worried has reason to get frazzled with me lots of times but she always accepts and forgives, no matter how outrageous I can be. She calls me a hellraiser but I am now an angel of sweetness and light compared to what I was when she first met me, and accepted me unconditionally. She's a very tolerant, caring, unjudgemental person. Little by little she civilized me as much as was possible. I learned a lot from her and owe her a lot.This is for you, Old Woman. Thank you for being my friend.
I like you because of
who you are to me....
A true friend.
Remember:
'A good friend will
come bail you
out of jail....and you have done so.
But a true friend will
be sitting next to you
saying "WE screwed
up, but we had fun!" There were times.... :)

Honey, I don't know who you thought you were bullshitting with your stone wall, but it had all the opaqueness of cellophane wrap, and all I could see was a sweet ole marshmellow!:)
But that was a beautiful thing you did for Worried. I just hope it doesn't shock the poor girl into cardiac arrest!:)
My wife gave me a little plaque on our 5th anniversary that means the world to me:
"A friend is somebody that has seen you naked - and still loves you!" Wimmins!!!:P

One of my regrets is not living closer to the two of you.- WA: TFWY: Yes, Gadfly is not as tough as she acts like, although she is one strong willed lady! Age has not diminished her fire. When her time comes to leave this vale of tears, she will go into that good night kicking and screaming and fighting the Grim Reaper tooth and nail.
It'd better jump back! Each of the three of us is so different and yet with many commonalities. We'd make a great team. The Granny Golden Girls Trio!
