Our friend Gary at Within Sight has an excellent post relevant to today's war policy and issues. See it at:

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Our leader and ilk have not learned a thing by past experience. So, do we allow them to keep on until we have 52,000 + casualties instead of "only" 3,000?
And WHY do we need American troops posted in over 700 locations around the world?? And Bush talking about more postings. Pax Americana?

ReplyDeleteSadly, the answer to that lies not with us, but a "Leadership" who refuses to listen.

There actually was a time, when America stood for such "unimportant" things as Human Rights. That accounts for part of them. But mostly, we wanted things to run "our way."
That was a good post. Gary's was the first blog on my blogroll if I remember correctly.
