Robertson predicts storms on the eastern coast and maybe a tsunami on the northwest coast, because God told him so? Hmmm. I didn't know that the weather/global warming/geological pundits and the newsies who publish their expert opinions were God! Now that is a revelation to me!!
Anyway, it's a pretty safe prophecy to predict storms on our hurricane, nor'easterner storm prone coast. Even our west coast gets some woolly-booger storms now and then, right, Granny? We don't even have to have a fireside chat with God to know that. According to geologists and experts who know about those things say that the northwest coast has suffered tunsamis in the past and if the fault lines running along that territory do a slip-a-de-doo-da, there is strong liklihood of a tsunami. Again, Granny? Aren't Californians familiar with fault lines along the west coast zipping on along to Alaska, and have a bit of knowledge about slippage? Did you have to have a special personal message from God to know that? I am surprised God didn't tell him about the possibility of quakes here and there. I note that he qualifies his pronouncements with "may" and "possibly"; that gives him some weasel room if nothing bad happens.
I suppose the religious sheeple will fall for it and consider Robertson a true prophet and "man of God" if, I mean when, we have our usual storms, especially if we get more really bad ones like the weather experts say are probable. They'll think he really "walks and talks with the Lord".
Like Bushy Baby has his cozy little chats with God.
Yeah, right! Give me a break!!

Robertson Says God Told Him About Storms
ASSOCIATED PRESS
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) -
In another in a series of notable pronouncements, religious broadcaster Pat Robertson says God told him storms and possibly a tsunami will hit America's coastline this year.
Robertson has made the predictions at least four times in the past two weeks on his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network, which he founded.
Robertson said the revelations about this year's weather came to him during his annual personal prayer retreat in January.
"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8. On Wednesday, he added, "There well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest."
Robertson has come under intense criticism in recent months for suggesting that American agents should assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for Israel's pullout from the Gaza Strip
