One Dollar One Vote
Not too likely. This article from Tom Paine is full of statistics showing the disparity between income and percentage of voters. Bottom line it says it that the poor don't vote.
There are a lot of reasons of course but just think what could be done with a concerted effort to get out the vote and then make sure they were allowed to vote once they reached a polling place.
In California, it's simple - vote absentee and never have to worry about transportation or time off from work. But what if each of us made a commitment to seek out and transport just a few people each.
Or are we already doing that.
Just a thought.
