Don't Like the Rules? Just Change Them

Bush adds little notes to the bills he signs which say he can ignore them anytime he wants.

The Constitution only applies when he says it does.

Everything is just fine. Ask anybody.

Now we have a letter from Bill Frist to Harry Reid threatening (in an extremely polite way) to change the rules of the Senate Intelligence Committee because it is not bipartisan.

The truth is they're disturbed anytime someone challenges them on anything. Best way to stop dissent? Change the rules, of course.

The link to the letter is in the title

  2. The difference between then and now is that none of us was ever going to have President Clinton's penis in our mouths without our knowlege and consent.

    pass it on.

  4. That letter by Senator Frist is truly amazing in how blatantly he threatens Senator Reid! How much longer must we suffer under the Tyranny of the Republican Majority! Maybe if we could pry our Young People away from Video Games for a short while, we could build an Activist Movement that would correct these types of wrongs!

  5. Left of Center - thanks, you're correct of course.

Kris, it's amazing how we've become a nation of sheep. My daughter (pushing 50)and a good friend both vote the way I tell them which is good for our side but bad for the country. I could be anybody and they wouldn't know better. Sad.
