Spam?

I don't know what Is America Burning post they were on but suddenly about a dozen comments appeared in my email in some unrecognizable (to me anyhow)language. I would have thought it a fluke except yesterday the same thing happened to an online friend in Scotland.

How odd.

I dunno, Granny. Blogger/Google as well as Yahoo has been doing crazy crap now and then lately. Pisses me off. I don't mess with it. You know what happens to the blog when I stick my fingers in it. I leave it to Old Woman. She bitches but usually can't change it - just waits til it goes away. Right now I don't pester her with problems. She's still not up to par. I remember long time ago IAB got some foreign language comments. According to the counter doodad IAB gets search hits from countries all over the world. Maybe a foreign searcher pulled up something on a post in the past and commented on it.

Hey Granny; I just checked the post below about Jupiter for comments and sure enough there was one. Is this your mystery commenter? I darn sure can't read it but glad he stopped by.

My friend in Scotland says it's spam. She deletes them; they come right back.

I don't think there's much you can do about it.

Hope WA is feeling better soon. Give her my best. I don't want to clutter up her email any more than it already is.

I don't get spam anymore since switching my blogging to Wordpress. Great spam control, but more learning curve.

Yup, looks like you gals got yourselves some regular type spam. Nothing to worry about, but I wouldn't be clicking on any links. Give Worried my best, too Gadfly.

Gadfly: Thanks Granny and fjb. I'll pass on your concern to Worried.

Hi, our multicolored frog! Good to hear from you. Getting rid of spam would be great but I don't think I can handle anything that requires a greater learning curve than Blogger. I still haven't figured out a fraction of using Blogger and especially its new "template" stuff. I can't even figure out template!

fkb: So glad to have you stop by. I won't click on any links! After some of the messes I've made on this blog, I just post and that's IT!

    This is fascinating.
I’d been taught that left-aligned labels are preferred, to support the prototypical F-shaped eye-tracking heatmap of web browsing. The idea is that it supports easy vertical scanning.
