His mission: to further indoctrinate the youth of this nation and to gather more converts.

Apparently the cost of his visit to the Australian taxpayers will be well over 100 million dollars. Given that the wealth of the Catholic Church is beyond estimation why doesn't he pay for it?

Just askin'.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17213045.post-64751122911449351692008-04-22T04:52:00.000-05:002008-04-22T04:52:00.000-05:00The PooP may be faithful, but then so was Hitler. The PooP may be faithful, but then so was Hitler. The Future Was Yesterdayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06515544130113138363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17213045.post-78420214187278408382008-04-21T16:50:00.000-05:002008-04-21T16:50:00.000-05:00I was pleasantly surprised by the Pope's visit. I appreciated that he met with victims of the sex abuse scandal and made a point of meeting with representatives of other faiths.

It would have been nice if he had said, "You know what? We were completely wrong about homosexuality and birth control. Sorry about that." But that's never going to happen.

A willingness to meet with people who disagree with him is a step in the right direction, and it's a step I didn't expect him to take.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
