Notice to Our Friends and Readers

When I first started this blog in 2005 I wanted it to be a forum where visitors could publish their input below a post. I was very new to computer usage and the internet and had no idea how to create such a page. Still don't.

As an alternative I have decided to try posting visitor comments below the posts. If this works out well I will continue the practise. Some people hesitate to post long comments. I like long comments and encourage anyone so disposed to air their views and opinions at length . It will be interesting to open dialogues and explore other viewpoints.

We do not moderate comments but have the option of deleting crude, vulgar, or hate posts; these will not be tolerated. Civility is required even when posting opposing opinions .

The first attempts at copying and pasting comments below the post was satisfactory. Blogger obligingly published the avatars of commenters. I liked that. Thereafter, in usual Blogger fashion, it refused to publish any more avatars. I do not know why.

If you like or object to this procedure, let me know.

  1. Looks like I am the first comment on this particular post. Go ahead, post the comments. I like the articles, but also want to read what folks have to say.

I have been gone a short while and missed a few posts. I'll pickup from here if you don't mind.

You do a great job here putting ut the information and the truth. Like the bumper sticker on our car:
"If you're not outraged, then you aren't paying attention"

Thanks for all you do here.
