I missed this on Friday somehow. The Judge in the NYC grannies trial has said they are not guilty. He claims it had nothing to do with their age but that the evidence showed they didn't block an entranceway as was charged in the complaint. Their protest was legal.

Nice to see that peaceful civil disobedience is still legal (for now) and that these ladies had the guts to exercise it. Henry David Thoreau is smiling at those grannies from wherever he is right now.
